One of the better sounding shows I’ve seen at Sonar, main stage or club. Despite being held on the Club Stage at Sonar, the show was presented by The Talking Head (which is currently being remodeled in the former lounge of Sonar). I’m kind of surprised I actually made it to this show, seeing as how I literally cracked my head open the night before in this very room. Then again, I really like this band, despite their tendency to turn their backs on the audience, so it’s not hard to imagine why I’d come out.

As for the other sets, I left after Bad Liquor Pond, so I didn’t tape Moscow Telephone, Crosstown Traffic, or Mongoloidian Glow. I forgot to press record, so I missed the set from Flipside of Overdrive. While I taped Pat Grant & The Blown Fuses, the wind picked up during this set and pretty much ruined the recording.
