This was the first time I had seen Ecstatic Sunshine since they went through that lineup/sound change, although I had heard a few recordings of their shows last winter courtesy of our own Jeff the Taper. They played for less than twenty minutes, but the band proved that no name change is needed and that they’re just as awesome as the old Ecstatic Sunshine. White Williams guests on synthesizer (he’s the one in the middle who can frequently be seen staring off into space and looking bored).

Nope, this is all from the onboard camera mic. Honestly I’m actually stunned it came out as good as it did, considering I was in the very front and they were possibly the loudest band that day.
