This was my third time seeing The Ed Schrader Show and the old adage stands tall and true: the third time’s a charm! Not that the previous episodes were lame, far from it. I just thought this show brought more hilarity and Human Host did a fantastic job of laying it out. Adam Endres public service message, The Christoper Ree-view, is both informative and hilarious (though I’m sure fans of Christopher Reeves would disagree). The interview with Jason Willet, founder of local noise band Leprechaun Catering and owner of The True Vine (record store in Hampden) was interesting and disturbing at the same time. The Human Host set was fantastic, albeit much too short (all musical guests’ sets are very short on The Ed Schrader Show). Bathtub Blast is indeed a blast!

Not the whole show was a bed of roses. As expected, Tom Myers made the audience groan more than laugh, though I gotta admit he did a thousand times better than when I saw him last year on The Heathens of Comedy tour. Unfortunately, that’s like saying “This bird shit tastes better than it did last week.” I also didn’t care for Connor’s Performing Cat skit with Connor Keizer and Lesser Gonzalez (as the cat).
